Commissions
Is there a landscape you want a painting of to hang in your home or office? Maybe one that holds a specific memory or portrays a feeling you want to hold onto. Is there a feeling you want portrayed in an abstract painting? Commissions are a great way for you to be involved in the process to have a piece of artwork created specifically for you.
I'm open for commissions to create custom landscape or abstract paintings. Send me a message to start a conversation about how I can help bring your vision to life.
Is a commission painting right for you?
Reasons why you might want a commission painting:
- You want a piece of art that is made just for you.
- There's an empty wall in your home that you want to decorate.
- A view was calling to you while you were out adventuring and you want it captured.
- You want a piece that inspires you and fits into the colour scheme of your home.
Process
- Email me about your idea for a painting.
- I will respond with the next available dates.
- I will prepare some sketches/colour studies.
- I will share the painting with you for feedback.
- You sign off on the finished piece and I will send you the painting. (It can also be picked up in-person from my studio in North Vancouver, BC.)
Note: A non-refundable amount of 50% of the cost will be billed up front. This must be paid before any work is started. The remaining amount + shipping costs are to be paid upon completion.
